Let's not use spirit animal[]
After reading up a bit on the subject, I really don't think it's appropriate. I have two reasons: it's never used in any of the Metalocalypse episodes, in Dethcarraldo they only talk about ancient animal forms and the second the words themselves are usually derived from a translated Anishinaabe word, which is used in North American native tribes (nowhere near the Amazon). Now the concept of spirit animals or animal guides or power animals is not exclusive to native Americans, it appears in a lot of shamanic cultures. The main problem is the the words "spirit animal" are usually connected to native Americans. It's better to use the words used in the episode itself, which is also closer to what the real life Yanomami use. Fetuscakes (talk) 19:41, July 2, 2014 (UTC)
