Vater Orlaag (Voiced by Malcolm McDowell) is a member of the Tribunal introduced in the second episode of the second season, presumably having been hired to replace Ravenwood. Orlaag is described by Stampingston as "a political and spiritual specialist." Orlaag appears to play a strong role in the Tribunal, often giving his input during meetings and being present in the main chamber of Selatcia during a conference with Crozier. Furthermore, he seems to hold a high rank in the military as seen in "Dethcarraldo", when he commands a number of personnel to accompany General Crozier on his mission following Dethklok in the Amazon. Orlaag has also shown himself to be fiercely loyal to Selatcia, more so than any other Tribunal member, and his appearance may be a reference to Grigori Rasputin, who was also a mystic with very few facts about him known. In "Black Fire Upon Us", he appears at Mordhaus after Crozier hits the Teenager with his rifle, with a grin on his face and his eyes glowing white. Selatcia then appears and shows Crozier a vision involving Dethklok and Selatcia, which presumably puts him under mind control. Orlaag and Selatcia disappear by the time the vision ends.

In Doublebookedklok AKA The Dead Man, he is shown communicating telepathically with Mr. Selatcia.
